Help SeniorNet Get the Word Out
Center Leaders, Volunteers, and Members,
Many of you may have just begun learning how to navigate around the computer and the internet, and we applaud your efforts. For those of you who are a little more experienced, we need a favor.
Several times a year, SeniorNet has some great news to share. Typically, we issue a press release and put the news on our website. But our reach could be a lot further.
We ask those of you who have any social media presence - a Facebook page, a Twitter account, a LinkedIn profile, or any other site that allows you to post content - to please help us out by posting our news and sharing with your friends and followers.
How to do it:
Go to SeniorNet's website and click on the tab that says "Press".
Our latest news should be the first thing you see. Open the press release. Copy the web address displayed in your browser window.
Then, open your Facebook page. Click on "Update Status". Paste the link into the window and press "Post". It's that easy.
If you follow SeniorNet on Twitter, all you need to do is "Re-tweet" our posted news.
If you don't follow us yet, go to Twitter and search for our Twitter handle, @SeniorNetOrg. Follow us and retweet. Simple!
Follow the instructions in the first paragraph under Facebook.
Open LinkedIn and paste the link into the box labeled "Share an Update".
Then, press "Share".
