I am very happy that SeniorNet is recognized internationally, by major corporations and by institutions of higher learning.
The University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) was established in 1889 by Louisa Parsons, a student of Florence Nightingale's training school for nurses in London, and is ranked sixth nationally by U.S. News and World Report.
UMSON is interested in studying patient portal program technology. Currently,
many hospitals are implementing patient portal programs to meet the criteria required by the Medicare and Medicaid's EHR (electronic health record) incentive program.
Patients can use patient portal programs to access their own electronic health records, send messages to their doctors, and request medication refills.
Having this type of access is crucial for all of us.
UMSON would like the SeniorNet Family to help by completing a short survey.
Your support of this effort will be very helpful.
Thank you in advance.
