Center Leaders, Assistant Center Leaders, and Sponsoring Organizations,
One of the benefits that most of our members and sponsors have come to appreciate is -- the distribution database for our Newsletters.
We have increased communications via newsletters by over 200% over the past 18 months.
The communications include:
- New curriculum
- Membership benefits such as free books
- Discounts from our partners
- Individual and Center recognition
Sharing information is very important from a Headquarters perspective.
You provide a yearly "volunteer list" ... and we make sure that the volunteer names and emails are updated.
For various reasons ---- some centers are not providing email addresses of their students. This is not good.
History and experience says that - the SeniorNet Newsletter is an ideal way to keep folks informed.
The SeniorNet Newsletter helps centers in marketing, branding, and showing value of what we have to offer to local communities.
YES, some students may discard or unsubscribe to the newsletter - but let's give them that opportunity.
I urge all Center Leaders to review their student registration / membership forms to ensure that students are receiving this Valuable Membership Benefit.
We will follow up with you on this.
Thank you for your attention to this important issue.
