Contest Winners for the 2014 Microsoft Open House Contest
The curriculum (instructional material) created by these centers demonstrate the growth and transformation of SeniorNet's mission.
We began in 1986 teaching basic computer skills to seniors. Now, 28 years later, we continue to teach the basics - however, we keep up-to-date by also delivering instructional classroom curriculum for the latest technological gadgets.
Many of our centers are now enjoying the inclusion of the young, boomers, seniors, and folks seeking computer work skills in the same classroom.
Some centers have reached out to underserved communities in their city.
As technology moves forward, so does SeniorNet.
The winning centers' contribution of instructional material not only serves their local community, but will be shared across the entire network of centers in the United States.
A salute of gratitude from the Board of Directors and Headquarters Staff to the winning centers.
